Statement on Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette’s Re-election
South Carolina Attorney General and Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Chairman Alan Wilson issued the following statement on Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette’s re-election victory in tonight’s General Election:
“Congratulations to my friend Attorney General Bill Schuette on securing a second term as Michigan Attorney General. Since being elected in 2010, Bill has been Michigan’s voice for victims. His work to end human trafficking, protect Detroit retirees, and defend the Constitution has yielded real results. I congratulate General Schuette on a well-deserved victory and I look forward to working alongside him for another four years.”
The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is the only national organization whose mission is electing Republicans to the Office of Attorney General. RAGA concentrates on supporting our current attorneys general and recruiting outstanding candidates, providing them with research and financial support and assisting in message development. In doing so, RAGA is improving the talent base from which many future Governors and U.S. Senators will be drawn.
