Statement on Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens’ Re-election
South Carolina Attorney General and Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Chairman Alan Wilson issued the following statement on Attorney General Sam Olens’ re-election victory in tonight’s General Election:
“Congratulations to my friend Attorney General Sam Olens on securing a second term as Georgia’s Attorney General. As Georgia’s 53rd Attorney General, Olens has been committed to serving Georgians by defending the both the U.S. and Georgia Constitutions and upholding the rule of law. I congratulate General Olens on his hard-fought victory and look forward to working alongside him for another four years.”
The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is the only national organization whose mission is electing Republicans to the Office of Attorney General. RAGA concentrates on supporting our current attorneys general and recruiting outstanding candidates, providing them with research and financial support and assisting in message development. In doing so, RAGA is improving the talent base from which many future Governors and U.S. Senators will be drawn.
