Washington, D.C. – West Virginia Attorney General and Chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Patrick Morrisey released the following statement congratulating Mike Hunter on his appointment to serve as Oklahoma Attorney General:
“Mike Hunter is a respected leader in Oklahoma with extensive experience in public service, private practice and the political arena. Mike knows how important it is for attorneys general to respect the rule of law, ensure public safety, and defend against federal overreach. I look forward to working with him on issues important to our states and nation, including unwinding the regulatory burdens put in place by the Obama Administration. RAGA lost a quality member with Scott Pruitt’s departure, but I am confident Mike Hunter will be a worthy successor.”
