Democratic AGs Continue to put Politics over Governance

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) Executive Director Scott Will released the following statement regarding the frivolous lawsuit filed against President Trump by the District of Columbia and Maryland Democratic Attorneys General, alleging a breach of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution:

"The lawsuit is a good example of why it is so important to elect attorneys general who will uphold the rule of law. Attorneys general should never use the power entrusted to them for cheap partisan political stunts, and unfortunately, that is the path several states have chosen today.  Democratic Attorneys General have filed another frivolous suit that the court should throw out."
