Washington, D.C. – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, Chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association, released the following statement on Sam Olens’ appointment as President of Kennessaw State University.
“Sam Olens served the State of Georgia with distinction in the attorney general’s office, and will bring the same intelligence, judgment, and leadership ability to his new role. While we are sad to see Sam leave elected office, we are also excited for him and Kennesaw State. The university could not have made a better choice to lead them forward.
"Chris Carr has deep experience in Georgia government and economic development. He understands the job of the attorney general and is an excellent choice to be Georgia’s next attorney general. My colleagues across the country welcome Chris and look forward to working with him on the important issues facing our states and nation.”
